01Why we started
Indian culture was always taught by proximity. Then the families moved.
What we teach is the ability to walk into any room, anywhere, and know exactly where you come from.

The moment
It happens on a video call at an awkward hour.
A grandmother begins a blessing. The child smiles: the smile you use when you have understood nothing. Somebody says he will learn it later.
The cost
Nobody decides to let it go. It simply goes.
What is lost is not information. It is a child's certainty about where they come from.
What we did
We put the teacher back in the room.
Two fixed 45-minute classes live every week, in a batch small enough that a mispronounced word is corrected on the spot.
Once
The teacher lived across the courtyard.
Now
Eleven time zones away, or ninety minutes across a city.
02What we built
A school, engineered.
Everything an exam-prep platform does for physics, applied to a tradition: a syllabus, graded batches, vetted teachers, and a class that actually happens.

Forty five minutes, one teacher, and a handful of learners who all get to speak.
Live, never recorded
A teacher in the room every session, correcting a word the moment it is said wrongly.
Structured courses
A syllabus and a sequence, so a learner moves forward instead of attending one-off sessions.
Graded batches
4 to 6, 6 to 10, 10 to 15, and adults. The same subject, pitched at the age in the room.
Teachers we vet
Auditioned, trained and observed in class. Nobody teaches here on a claim alone.
Every time zone
Families in 22 countries. Timings are built around the learner, not around Indian hours.
One free class first
A free 30-minute class: meet the teacher and see a real batch before any money is discussed.
Not intensity. Rhythm.
03What we are here to do
01
Our mission
Put a real teacher in front of every family that wants to keep its culture, whichever country they wake up in.
Structured courses, graded batches, teachers we vet ourselves, and timings that bend around the learner. Built to run at scale without ever stopping being a room where the teacher knows your child by name.
02
Our vision
A generation that can chant with their grandparents and argue with their professors, at home in both rooms.
Culture carried lightly wherever a child goes, not visited once a year at a festival.
विद्या ददाति विनयम्
vidyā dadāti vinayam · Knowledge gives humility
04What we believe
Five things we hold to
Each one has a name in the tradition it comes from. We use it, because that is the language we teach.
A living tradition, not a recording
परम्पराparamparā · an unbroken succession
A video cannot hear a word said wrongly and correct it. That correction is the whole inheritance.
Small enough to be seen
गुरुकुलम्gurukulam · the teacher's own household
A child who never speaks in class has not really attended it. Batches stay small enough that everyone is heard, every week.
Meaning before memorising
अर्थःarthaḥ · the meaning of a word
A shloka learnt without its sense is only a sound. We teach what the words mean, and why they were worth remembering for three thousand years.
Roots that travel
मूलम्mūlam · the root
Ohio at seven in the morning, Dubai after dinner. Distance is a scheduling problem, not a disqualification.
No shame for beginners
जिज्ञासाjijñāsā · the wish to know
Many of our adult learners never had the chance. Starting at forty is not late, and nobody here is made to feel it is.
None of this is worth much in writing. It is worth something in a class.
