What Art & Painting is
Line, colour and pattern taught through the styles this culture actually produced: Madhubani, Warli, Pattachitra, rangoli and kolam. Learners finish with work worth putting on a wall.
Made slowly, by hand, and therefore worth keeping.

- Control of line and brush, built through traditional motifs
- Several regional styles, and what makes each recognisable
- Colour as these traditions use it, including natural pigments
- To finish a piece properly rather than abandoning it half-done

Who can join Art & Painting?
Anyone. Batches run at 4 to 6, 6 to 10 and 10 to 15, and adults have batches of their own, so a learner is placed by age rather than turned away by it. No prior knowledge is assumed: most learners start from nothing.
Is Art & Painting taught live?
Live, always, in a small batch with the camera on. A recording cannot hear a mistake and correct it, and that correction is most of what you are paying for.
