Yoga for Women's Health
A women-only batch: PCOS, thyroid, periods and menopause, practised gently.
- Two classes
- every week
- 45 minutes
- live, each class
- First class
- free
What Yoga for Women's Health is
A women-only batch for what women most often bring to yoga: PCOS, thyroid trouble, painful periods, and the years around menopause. Hip openers, supported inversions and gentle forward bends, with a teacher who adjusts the practice around your cycle rather than ignoring it.
Practised with the body you have this week, not the one you had last year.
What they will learn
- Hip and pelvic work: baddha konasana, supta baddha konasana, malasana
- The gentle supported inversions and shoulder work traditionally practised for the thyroid
- How to practise through a period, and what to leave out that week
- Pranayama and relaxation for the disturbed sleep and mood that come with all of it
What the benefits are
- A practice that fits the month rather than fighting it
- Stress lowered, which every one of these conditions is worsened by
- A small batch of women where nothing has to be explained twice
How the 45 minutes run
- A quiet check-in, and the practice pitched to the week
- Gentle mobilisation, then the sequence of the week
- Supported and restorative postures, held long
- Pranayama and a full relaxation to close
What they still have in twenty years
A practice that adapts with you, through cycles, pregnancy and the years after, rather than one you outgrow.

Before you book. Yoga classes are a practice, not medical treatment. Tell us about any injury, surgery, pregnancy or condition before your first class, and speak to your doctor if you are under treatment. We do not diagnose, treat or cure anything, and a teacher will tell you plainly when a posture is not for you.
